Poitiers: cross the towns of St-Léger de La Martinière and Melle. If you keep going straight in Melle and follow the direction of Saintes/St-Jean d’Angély, you will see the sign for Paizay-le-Tort on your left, just after a bridge, as you leave Melle.

Limoges: when you arrive in Melle, you will see a sign for Saintes/St-Jean d’Angély on the left of the roundabout. As you leave Melle, you will see the sign for Paizay-le-Tort on your left, just after a bridge.

Niort: when you arrive in Melle, you will see a sign for Saintes/St-Jean d’Angély on the right of the roundabout. Follow this road for a while until you see the exit for Saintes. Take this exit. At the crossroads, you will see the sign for Paizay-le-Tort just in front of you.

Saintes/St-Jean d’Angély: just before reaching Melle, you will see the sign for Paizay-le-Tort on your right, just before the bridge.

Once in Paizay-le-Tort: if you arrive by the road indicated in all the above paragraphs, go past the cemetery, then take a right. After that, keep going straight: you should see a church on your left, just go on, you should see a football pitch on your right, go on a little more until you see a renovated stone wall with a red gate on your left. That will be "Au Chant du Coq".
